During the Open Stargazing Evening, you are welcome to visit our telescopes! Under the guidance of volunteers from the Astronomical Society Nijmegen, you will receive a tour including stargazing (weather permitting), a lecture by an astronomer, and there will be time for questions about recent astronomy news.

The first telescope tour starts at 7.30 pm, with the last visit starting around 9.30 pm. You can make a reservation for the first tour (at 7.30 pm) via the Astronomical Society Nijmegen website (in Dutch).

Reception at the entrance of the Huygens building, Radboud University, Heijendaalseweg 135 in Nijmegen. Free parking is available at P11 under the Huygens building.

The tours are suitable for all ages. The top two floors leading to the telescopes are only accessible by stairs.

Admission is free. In case of high demand, entry is on a first-come, first-served basis, except for those who have made a reservation for the first hour. Several tours will follow one after another.
